around the back of the campus to see the scenic view of the Fox River. The Lawrence Memorial
Chapel, across College Ave from the campus, is also a pretty place to stop and take a look

3. Take the Kids to the Building for Kids Children’s Museum
If you’re looking for something to do with the little ones, you have to spend a couple hours at the
Building for Kids Children’s Museum. Opened in 1991, and located one block east of the
CopperLeaf, the Building for Kids seeks to empower children, engage parents and energize
communities. With 14 different exhibits, there is tons for kids of any age to play on, explore and
learn from. They also have various events occurring throughout the year, which you can find on

4. Enjoy Dinner and Cocktails at Rye Restaurant and Lounge
The Rye Restaurant and lounge is located directly adjacent to the CopperLeaf Hotel. Featuring a
refined comfort menu that changes with the seasons, and a rustic urban setting, this is one of
the most unique dining experiences in Appleton. If you want to try a delicious new cocktail, take
a look through their artisan cocktail menu, using homemade simple syrups and premium
ingredients. The food is local and organic whenever possible, and the menu features a wide

5. Visit the Trout Museum of Art
